While this whole movie isn't about Thanksgiving, there are a couple scenes celebrating it. This true story is heartfelt, and it celebrates the feeling of family. This is a classic movie that we have always enjoyed.
A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
You can't go wrong with a Charlie Brown classic! This animated staple is perfect for all ages, but the kids will especially enjoy this one! Out of Thanksgiving movies for kids, this has to be one of my favorites!
Home for the Holidays
This drama/comedy jumps into the chaos of a dysfunctional family gathering for the holiday. It's a raw, funny, and enjoyable movie to watch this year. It's an oldie but a classic!
The Turkey Bowl
A Thanksgiving weekend comedy that follows a man returning to his hometown for the "Turkey Bowl" football game. This movie is funny, but it also shows all the small-town chaos!

Holidate
A holiday romcom that starts during Thanksgiving! Sloane agrees to be a plus-one to avoid her family scrutiny during the holidays. This movie focuses on the holiday season in general, but it begins with Thanksgiving! Out of all Thanksgiving movies on Netflix, this has to be my favorite!
The Willoughbys
While this movie is not strictly about Thanksgiving, this animated movie has a strong family message for the holidays. Siblings set aside their unfortunate upbringing to find a new kind of family!
Hulu
Paul Blart: Mall Cop
This is another movie that might not be a classic Thanksgiving movie, but we still love it! It takes place during Thanksgiving weekend, and uses the holiday shopping rush as a big part of the story. This movie is hilarious!
