• Did it last/did it peel? It never peeled or cracked! The fabric softens up the more the cushion is used. It held up for years before I swapped it out.

• What does it feel like? It kind of feels like a faux leather!

• Would I do it again? Eh 50/50. It’s a great upcycle project for a piece headed to the trash or something you plan to reupholster in the future. I wouldn’t do it on anything new.

• Does it stain clothes? Nope! Ours never did & I sat on it with white pants.

Things to know BEFORE limewashing: • It’s so easy

Things to know BEFORE limewashing:

• It’s so easy & you won’t mess it up! (Yes, even if you have no DIY experience!)

• It’s thinner & messier than regular wall paint, so use a plate for drips.

• First coat = splotchy & scary. Second coat = magic.

• USE. THE. PRIMER. (& swatch samples over primer if you can!)

• It has so many cool properties: naturally mold & mildew resistant, anti-microbial, natural patina, etc.

• It will change with age in the best way!! But don’t do it if you’re a perfectionist who doesn’t like patina — it will disappoint you.

• It’ll never be “trendy” or go out of style bc it’s been around for centuries!
