Description
This tangy, creamy dill pickle dip is packed with bold flavor, a little crunch, and the perfect balance of fresh herbs and spices. It’s a crowd-pleasing appetizer for parties, game day, or anytime snacking. Serve with chips, veggies, or crispy fries!
Ingredients
1 cup – plain Greek yogurt
8 oz – cream cheese, softened
½ cup – dill pickle juice
½ cup – chopped dill pickles
¼ cup – chopped fresh dill
¼ cup – chopped green onions
1 tablespoon – onion powder
1 tablespoon – garlic powder
½ tablespoon – paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
½ cup – panko breadcrumbs (optional)
½ tablespoon – oil or butter (optional)
Instructions
- Make the Base:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, softened cream cheese, pickle juice, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Use a hand mixer to blend until smooth and creamy. - Prep the Add-Ins:
Finely chop the dill pickles, fresh dill, and green onions. Set aside about ⅓ of each for topping the dip later. Stir the remaining ⅔ into the dip using a spoon or spatula. - Chill the Dip:
Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. The longer it chills, the thicker and more flavorful it becomes. - Make the Optional Topping:
(Optional, but recommended) In a small skillet, heat ½ tablespoon of oil or butter over medium heat. Add panko breadcrumbs and toast, stirring frequently, until golden brown. Let cool. - Assemble and Serve:
Remove the dip from the fridge. Top with the reserved chopped pickles, dill, and green onions. Sprinkle with the toasted panko for extra crunch.
Enjoy!
