Roasted Turkey
Ingredients: Whole Turkey (12-14 lbs.), Unsalted Butter, Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Paprika, Lemon, Garlic, Onion, Thyme, Rosemary, & Sage
How To: Make sure your turkey is thawed and remove giblets from the inside of the turkey. Pat the turkey dry with paper towels. Mix softened butter with all seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Rub the seasoned butter all over the outside of the turkey and under the skin. Place the turkey breast-side up in a roasting pan with a rack or on the onions. Cover loosely with foil and roast for 15 minutes per pound. This should take around 4 hours and remove foil in the last 30-45 minutes to let the skin brown. Make sure your turkey hits 165 degrees and let it rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.
