Curtains are a must to transform a room! I always get curtains that are my floor to ceiling length because it creates a luxurious space. If you want a more airy room, definitely get white curtains or a cream color!
Swap Out Bedding
Switching your bedding will transform your room! Choose a new duvet, quilt, or comforter that matches your new style. You can even swap out some of your throw pillows. Since your bed is such a focal point in your room, this will make a big change!

Lighting is something that doesn't seem too important, but I am here to tell you it is! Bad lighting can ruin even the most beautiful decor and room. We love ambient lighting in any of our rooms. Adding lamps also helps!
Choosing Style Over Comfort
Your bedroom should feel cozy when you go in there still! It's easy to get caught up in all of the decor and style of your room, but you need to remember to the purpose of your bedroom refresh! You can still add decor, but make sure everything is comfortable still! Don't pick textured or stiff bedding just because you like how it looks.
