What Makes A Good At Home Date?
A good at home date starts with intention. That's what makes it different from any old weeknight at home. For us that means NO phones, a themed date night, good food & drinks, & great conversation.
A huge roadblock for most couples is feeling overwhelmed by what it takes to actually plan a thoughtful at home date. We did the heavy lifting for you! All of everything we used, recipes, and convo starters are all included below.
Love Letter Themed Date Materials
The materials you need for this love letter themed date are pretty minimal! You could even get by with spending nothing if you choose to! You could hand-write love letter prompts & simply use our convo starters listed below. Totally up to you!
The love note deck I found on Amazon & it's so sweet! It has all kinds of prompts you'd never think to ask about. I love the idea of sprinkling them around the house for your significant other to find throughout the week!

Activities: What To Do During Your Date
1. Make some drinks!
We made a classic Clover Club cocktail with this date! You can grab the recipe here.
2. Start on dinner and/or snacks.
Homemade hot honey pizza was on the menu for us. You can buy pre-made dough at the grocery store, simply add sauce, pepperoni, cheese & top with hot honey once it's out of the oven!
We did chocolate covered strawberries for dessert!
3. Begin writing your love notes.
You can write these on your own, but if you prefer a prompt we loved these letters from Amazon.
4. Go through the connection questions.
Putting phones away is super important during this portion of the date. All of this week's connection questions are listed below!
5. Watch Your Movie
The Notebook is right on theme for this date! If you want something a little more lighthearted, 'To All The Boys I've Loved Before' is a cute option.
