Recipe FAQs:
How do I know when the peaches are done baking?
The peaches should look golden on the cut side and feel tender when pierced with a fork. If they're still too firm, bake for a few extra minutes.
What's the best way to serve baked peaches?
The classic way is warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, but they are also great topped with whipped cream, candied nuts, granola, or yogurt. For something savory, try adding them to a summer salad with goat cheese and arugula.

Can I use canned or frozen peaches instead of fresh?
Fresh peaches work best, but you can use frozen if you thaw them first and pat them completely dry. Canned peaches are usually too soft and may not hold up well when baking.
How do I store leftover baked peaches?
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or oven before serving.
