Recipe FAQs:
Can I make this ahead of time?
Yes! You can assemble the skewers a few hours in advance. Store them in an airtight container in the fridge. Arrange the wreath just before serving for the freshest look.
What cheeses can I substitute?
Feel free to use gouda, swiss, or monterey jack if you don’t have cheddar or pepper jack. Any firm cheese that can be cubed works well.
Are there vegetarian options?
Absolutely. Skip the meat and add olives, cucumber slices, roasted red peppers, or artichoke hearts for a veggie-friendly version.

How many does this serve?
This recipe makes about 25–30 skewers, serving roughly 8–10 guests as an appetizer.
Can I use long skewers or sticks instead of toothpicks?
You can, but smaller skewers/toothpicks keep the wreath compact and easy to serve from. Long skewers might make the arrangement bulky.
