This post is about the best helpful kitchen hacks for making life easier!
Kitchen Hacks:
1. Crumb Gap Stove Protector
Using this crumb stove gap protector has kept our kitchen so much cleaner! I admit… anytime I used to spill down the crack between the stove & the counter I would pretend I didn’t notice. I’ve always heard horror stories about how pulling your gas stove out can lead to gas leaks, so I was terrified to move it. This gap cover is heat resistant and water resistant, so you can use it confidently while cooking. Best part – it’s dish washer safe!
2. Hidden Cabinet Paper Towel Holder
Using this paper towel holder has cleared up so much counter space for us! Our counters no longer feel cluttered + we find ourselves saving SO much money on less paper towels now. Instead of default reaching for the paper towels, we actually use our hand towels now. You can also under-mount this paper towel holder under your upper cabinets, but I love putting it under our sink. You can screw it in or it’s peel & stick (our peel & stick is still holding strong after 3+ years!)
3. Water Leak Detector
This is one of those tips that you scroll past and then regret it after it’s too late. We’ve had leaks at our old apartment & ruined so many items because of it. In our home, we now use these. They’re great to put under your kitchen sink, bathroom sink, water heater, lid of your sump pump, etc. They have alarm based ones or even wifi connected ones that will alert your phone directly if you aren’t home!
4. Trash Bag On A Roll Kitchen Hack
This trash bag on a roll kitchen hack is a great space saver! If you want to replicate this you’ll need a few small brackets and a tiny dowel for the rod. If you want to keep it renter friendly, attach the brackets with command strips. You can also use this over the cabinet hook system to keep it renter-friendly also.
5. Letter Sorter For Lids
There is nothing worse than having mismatched tupperware. I don’t even know how it happens, but we’re constantly missing pieces. This kitchen hack is a great solve for keeping your kitchen tupperware organized! This one from Amazon is a super cheap option.
6. Magazine Holder For Tinfoil & More
If you’re short on storage space in your kitchen, try storing your tinfoil and seran wrap in a magazine holder. You can tuck it under your sink, in a cabinet, or your pantry! It’s a great way to keep those awkward packages more organized!
7. Stackable Storage Containers
Once you stack you never go back. We have limited storage in our kitchen so these storage containers are lifesavers. You can use them for baking items, snacks, coffee pods, etc. Here are one of my favorites on Amazon.
8. Utilize Cabinet Doors For Storage
Use these over the cabinet storage hooks to double your cabinet storage! You can store spices, lids, tinfoil, small kitchen utensils, and more in them.
9. Stackable Water Bottles Kitchen Hack
Water bottles take up so much space in a cabinet, and you can never find what you’re looking for. Instead of digging around try out this stackable storage solution from Amazon. It allows your bottles to lay on their side which saves so much cabinet space & allows you to find what you’re looking for much quicker!
I’m always searching for the best kitchen hacks to keep our cabinets organized! These are 9 of my favorite. Our kitchen is the hub of our home, so having a functional and organized kitchen is key. These kitchen hacks is some of my tried & true for keeping things organized on a budget!
